FAQs
01
What should I expect during my first assessment appointment?
Your first appointment is a comprehensive assessment appointment, where we’ll discuss your symptoms in detail, explore how they impact your every day activities, and identify the goals you want to achieve. We’ll also take into account your overall health, as this can impact your well-being. A physical examination will then take place, followed by a discussion about your diagnosis and the start of your treatment.
You will also be provided with a home exercise program to kickstart your recovery and ensure that you’re moving in the right direction from day one.
02
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Ideally, choose attire that makes it easy for your physiotherapist to examine the area being treated—for example, shorts for leg issues or a vest top for shoulder, back or neck concerns.
03
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, absolutely. You are more than welcome to bring a friend, family member, or caregiver to your appointment for support.
04
Is there an age limit?
We provide care for people who are 16 years old or over. There is no upper age limit. If you are seeking physiotherapy for someone under 16 years old then you are welcome to contact us as we will be able to signpost accordingly.
